BDO increases lead of overall AIM ranking for Q1 2019
07 February 2019
BDO increases its lead among auditing companies with the largest number of clients in the last AIM ranking (Alternative Investment Market, counterpart to the Polish NewConnect). BDO acquired another 3 clients. This is a rise from the last edition of the ranking.
This gives BDO 152 clients, 34 ahead of KPMG’s 118 and 41 ahead of Grant Thornton’s 111.
The published results indicate that BDO took the first position as an auditor for companies in some industries. IT leads the way with client numbers in the basic materials rankings. BDO also joined the leaders of the ranking in the Industry category. The situation is similar in the oil and gas sector and consumer goods.
BDO UK has ended the merger with Moore Stephens LLP, which can further increase BDO's position as a leader in AIM rankings. As a result of the merger, the Moore Stephens LLP offices from London, Birmingham, Reading, Bristol and Watford joined the BDO brand. It is likely that thanks to this the combined company will be the fifth largest company in the UK.
