This is yet another year in a row when BDO is ranked one of the Best Audit Firms in Poland. This year we are among the first four. We have also confirmed our stature in the category of Audit Firms Most Active on the stock exchange – we have been ranked third in this category in 2021. We also came in fifth in the category of Best Auditor of Listed Companies in the latest Ranking of Auditors compiled by Rzeczpospolita.
- The results of the Ranking by Rzeczpospolita and Parkiet are an additional thank you to the entire BDO Audit Team. It is their work and effort that has led to such spectacular results in this year’s standings. I have to say I am extremely proud of our integrated and efficient Team. Edyta Kalińska, the Managing Partner of the Audit Department’s Western Region, stresses the value of the high marks given to BDO for its stock exchange activity and services provided to companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
- Audit of public companies is a very demanding task. This is because it requires compliance with numerous regulatory requirements. The entire process, from the moment we submit a proposal, through auditor selection, and then the audit itself, is subject to all sorts of legal restrictions. This means that our work has to be very precise and our documentation extremely detailed, so that the whole process is performed correctly and neither the audit firm nor the Client exposed to the risk of misstatements. We are therefore very proud that BDO has held the title of the Most Active and Best Audit Firm of listed companies since practically the start of its operations on the Polish market. Congratulations and thanks go to the entire BDO Audit Team. It should also be stressed that our Teams work at different locations – as we have offices in Warsaw, Poznań, Kraków, Katowice and Wrocław – but we are in fact one Team whose members can count on each other in any situation. We support each other, work together and every one will get the advice they need whenever necessary – says Kalińska.
Andre Helin adds: “In the last two years our work has been nearly entirely remote. It was a very demanding period, as we had to organize not only the work itself, but also the manner in which we collaborated with our Clients. Today we know that we have passed this test. Increased use of modern tools and technology has made our work better, safer and more effective, and our Team more close-knit. And it is all extremely valuable.”
It should also be stressed that this year’s success would not be possible if not for the consistent investments in people and tools that BDO has bet on for many years. Continued raising of qualifications and use of modern client service systems allow us to provide the highest level of service. Edyta Kalińska also points out that audit is a very dynamic field. This is because on one hand we see changes in the expectations of the market and Clients, and on the other the industry is becoming increasingly more regulated and supervised. As a result, audit firms undergo continuous changes and must focus on the fulfillment of many requirements as well as extremely rigorous standards.
