Safe Company No. 7
24 July 2020
It is our pleasure to present to you another issue of our “Secure Company” alert. In it you will find information on changes planned to AML regulations, as well as interesting GDPR related information. A lot has happened recently with regard to the latter. But it is the position of the president of UODO on the requirement to inform management organs and company representatives about the processing of personal data that is most noteworthy. The requirement may apply to as many as 500 thousand companies. Very interesting is also the president’s view on the need to make changes to the Found Property Act, to regulate security matters with regard to data on found media such as laptops, cell phones, pen drives, cameras or tablets. Also important is the information that the president of UOKiK was recently given access to data covered by tax and banking secrecy.
When it comes to other news, we would like to draw your attention to the postponement of the deadline for reporting to the Central Register of Beneficial Owners, resulting from a failure of the system used to make such filings.
As usual we wish you a pleasant read, and should you require more or more detailed information, please don’t hesitate to contact our company and experts.
